COVID-19 Social Distancing

In response to the global efforts to contain the spread of the COVID-19 Coronavirus, Einno has taken actions to ensure continued service to our customers.

Although, there are currently no specific treatments for coronaviruses, and there is currently no vaccine that protects against coronaviruses there are steps we can take to help fight against the virus.

It is advised to do the following:

  • Drink plenty of fluids
  • Get rest and sleep as much as possible
  • Try a humidifier or a hot shower to help with a sore throat or cough
  • Stay home if you are sick
  • If you need immediate medical attention you should call the emergency line.

How is Coronavirus spreading?

According to health officials, Coronaviruses are spread primarily from person-to-person through close contact. Sneezing and coughing droplets (saliva) are the known factors that can transmit the virus. A single cough can produce up to 3,000 droplets, while a sneeze can produce as many as 10,000.

Once an infected person sneezes or coughs near a person that is not infected, these droplets then land on or are breathed into the uninfected person’s airways. OR, the droplets fall on a surface that is touched by an uninfected person, who then touches their mouth, nose, ears or eyes.

“NOT all infected people see symptoms”

This is why we must understand the degree to which to socialize.

What is social distancing?

Social distancing is the act of reducing the amount of interaction people have while allowing them to carry out their necessary day-to-day activities. Social distancing is highly recommended to help control the spread of coronavirus. Since the virus is spreading mainly through respiratory droplets (specifically coughing or sneezing), maintaining a degree of distance will help to decrease the spread of the virus.  

Social distancing not only protects you; it also protects people that are at a higher risk if they construct coronavirus. This might but not limited to the elderly over 70, people with significant long-term medical problems like lung disease, heart disease, weak immune system, diabetes, neurological problems, and kidney disease.

Does this mean you MUST STOP socializing?

No, this shouldn’t result in you becoming anti-social. There are alternative ways like online social platforms that alone you to stay in the comfort of your home, such as the ones listed below.

Netflix has created a new way to watch movies with your friends online. It is all packaged with video synchronization and chat groups and its all FREE.

Book Club

Use FaceTime, Skype or Whatsapp to create a book club chat for all your friends.

Attend Events

Learn new skills, participate in group activities, or get some exercise right from the comfort of your home with Eventbrite new landing page featuring upcoming virtual events.

Just hangout

Discord makes it ease to communicate (voice, video, and text) with your friends online. They have it covered, whether you’re part of a school club, a nightly gaming group, a worldwide art community, or just a want to hang with your friends.


Use Mural to create a fun version of Pictionary with your friends virtually. The rules are the same, you draw a picture and your friends guess what it is. The only difference that you don’t need to leave the comfort of your home. The best part is that it is FREE

What else can you do?

The most important thing you can do to help fight against COVID-19 is to do your part. Everyday actions can help prevent the spread of germs and viruses like COVID-19:

  • Wash your hands often with warm water and soap or an alcohol-based hand sanitizer
  • Avoid contact with people who are sick
  • Stay home when you are sick
  • Sneeze and cough into your sleeve
  • Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth
